I love Tim Burton! His stories are always a hit and when he made one about a corpse bride waiting for her groom I couldn’t help but sigh in pleasure. Many thought it would gross them out like Sweeney Todd but they were all wrong. Tim Burton might be the king of gothic but this movie, dark as it may seem, ends just like a fairy tale: the bad guy dies and the couple live happily ever after.

Rock afficionados who are getting married can look upon this movie for inspiration. There’s a lot of gothic romantic stuff that gothic lovers can pick up on.
